| I think any coach coming in would be to replace Agar, I doubt smith will ever leave of his own accord.
As for Harrison I think he will simply retire at the end of the year, but he still might move on to a different club. Apparently any club that signed him on loan would have to pay part of his wage which is apparently one of the highest at the club given the length of time he's been with us so that may have scuppered a move for him. And i'm not sure but I think if he had simply left and signed for another club it would have stopped his testimonial, I could be wrong on that but it may be why he didn't simply sign for another club maybe?

| Didn't we have a similar situation where Simon Grix stayed on our books & went to Halifax ? Incidentally, when will he be back playing for us or has he retired completely now ?

Grix is back playing for Fax now, but missed a large chunk of the start of the year I think. He signed a permanent deal with Fax, so no reason to expect him to come back - think he does a bit of coaching their too.

Agar?
In my black wheelie bin a week on Wednesday
Not worthy of my recycle bin or even my compost bin as I've had to pay £30 for the year to get shut .

playing devils advocate here
a lot of people are saying that super league has become boring and too structured well go and watch the nrl that is even more so yes they have great players over there but given the freedom to play rugby rather than the percentages it would be 10x more exciting to watch. my point is we are complaining that were boring to watch however want an nil coach to come in surely we will just become more boring to watch and be to structured I cannot personally think of one nrl coach I would prefer here over Powell.

We're frustrating to watch, and we're not winning games, which makes us not fun to watch. That's what makes it boring.
Our main problems are we look clueless in the final 20, and we make too many silly errors such as crap passes and dropped balls that stutter our momentum.
To fix that, we need some sort of structured plays we can revert to.
Maybe a matter of opinion, but structure does not have to equal boring. Watching Wigan play their rehed fast, crisp passes to deep running players along the line before scoring in the corner is not boring for me.

| See Mose Masoe is going to Hull KR until the end of the season, would love to see him at Warrington next season. Been linked with us, Saints and Huddersfield, think he would be a great signing when fit and gives a BIG bench forward. Not had any big impact off the bench for years.

17 years of age and wants guaranteed fullback spot, fair play to the lad but not many chances at that age.

| Wants to be playing regular at fullback. Well he won't be playing regular 1st team but he may well be playing regular 'A' Team. Another advantage of an A team Comp. Leeds have stuck with their Duel reg system which is pants and for a young lad to recognise that well then fair play to him.

Not sure it's even that, his competition at Leeds is 20 year old Ashton Golding. Potentially he could be the Leeds 1st choice Fullback for next 8-10 years, a pretty long time to act as a understudy.
Surely, the attitude to have is to try unsurp Golding but one thing he clearly doesn't want to do is settle into being a winger.

| I could usurp Golding. So overrated it's untrue. Sky creaming over him sums up the state of the game in this country.

| A few murmurs of Brad Dwyer to Leeds. It'll surprise me as he would be doing exactly the same at Leeds as he would at Warrington, interchange hooker. Very good replacement for burrow if true and lets some steam off Parcell too.

Next year Brad Dwyer would be 3rd choice behind Smith. If he stays at Warrington.

| Having once been a big fan of Dwyer, and having championed him many times, I find it sad to say he can, and should, move on.
He has been the personification of our 2017 malaise. Hopelessly out of form, yet brimming with misplaced belief about his own ability and lacking the honesty and humility to roll up his sleeves and get the job done.
