Pretty much ubiquitous when you go to Florida, the only decent American beers you can have as an alternative are Samuel Adams Boston or Michelob Ultra which are like a heavier, brown ale.

It's minging in England. In spain it tastes nicer.

Proper draught Greenalls Bitter, from a hand pump or the electric pumps you only used to see in the North ( they had a glass cylinder on the bar where you could see the beer being drawn into ) was a very fine pint indeed. Thomas Greenalls Original was even better, but not widely distributed. Ironically, you could get it for while in the late 1990s in Milton Keynes and a few other far-flung locations when Greenalls owned a pub/restaurant chain.

Festival was from the dark period when fizzy keg beers were trying to take over. Every brewer had one, with Double Diamond probably the most famous. All such beers were fundamentally chemical crap but very profitable. Thanks to the efforts of CAMRA, they have largely disappeared.

They sell it in the cons, both bitter and mild.
The bitter tastes great but is, i believe, a maelstrom of chemicals. It certainly left me with a sore head and I don't do hangovers.

Speaking of headaches, all that Caffrey's, Killkenny tosh that was doing the rounds in the mid 90's.

2 pints of the stuff would leave you feeling like you'd done 15 rounds with Marvin Hagler, and then Thomas Hearns was just about to start on you.

you can still get cafferys in the rodney, 2.20 a pint,, bargain... i have a bottle of the the last ever beer ever produced at greenalls called . "the last post " in my drinks cabinet, never been opened. priceless.
