Well, the West holds 3,200. But seating tickets will also have been passed to Saints for block Q in the North which holds around 250. So it looks as though all allocated tickets for Saints will be sold by tomorrow night. Surprisingly, I think it is Wire fans that are not too keen on attending the game.

I know they've mentioned the ticket booths will be open from five but I can't get there that early and don't fancy getting stuck in a big queue at half seven.

They were today, so can't see why they wouldn't be tomorrow.

There will be a distinct lack of youngsters due to school the following day, so 14000 would be respectable.

I picked my tickets up today and complained at the counter about not being able to get the members discount on line and they refunded the difference in cash. Feel a bit guilty now.

The club have said this doesn't work. Your spot in the ground is safe but you'll need to pick a ticket up beforehand.

Would you prefer that we only take our core home support to OT of 8,000ish (even it we get there which is by no means certain) and leave 22,000 seats empty? Or should we only allow the true hard code that attend home and away, say 1,000? Or should that lad who never misses a game be our sole representative?

There will always be more interest in attending a final, there will always be fans who attend more or less than others. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.

Saints have sold out.

If Saints only have 250 tickets left like they've reported then they have deffo sold 3,200 tickets. Wire have sold 'over 10,000 tickets' as or two days ago. so we're going to be pretty close to 11,000.

11,000 + 3200 = 14,200 give or take 100.

My guess is we'll see 14,500 in the crowd. Which for a Thursday night on sky isn't something to grumble at.

The "10,000" tickets sold must have included the Saints allocation. If you looked at the ticketing website before it was taken down this morning you'd see that the number of seats sold was pretty poor, and much lower than a typical league game

So a game against Widnes is deemed more important than a Semi Final that will get us to the Grand Final? Saints have sold their allocation so its ourselves that cant sell the ground out yet we could against Widnes. The demand for that game was so high that the club asked Full Members to sell their tickets back to the club so the club could sell them on. Where are all these fans now? I appreciate people travel and cant make it however if we had that demand for Widnes, where is it now when the club need them the most!

Thursday night means that me + 3 others won't be attending. Thats why it isn't a sell out....if it had been a Friday night or a Saturday/Sunday game it would be a different story.

But how many people are on holiday at Easter, or catching up with relatives, or have to work bank holidays etc etc. Demand should be higher than demand for a game of this magnitude, regardless of when the game is played. The old dear wanting to be in bed by 9 should be replaced by a student, in the same way that the student dying of a hangover on a Sunday afternoon would be replaced by Doris.
