Look this was a potential banana skin match so a win is a win but conceding 34 points does not scream to me we are a top two team.On this form i see us top 6 but the defence this season is very worrying.

to be fair before we all start moaning they Wakefield have not been in low scoring affairs in recent weeks

they can certainly score points against most opposition but they are certainly quite ropey on defence.

All season we have been playing average & sometimes poor yet we are 3rd in the league ( realistically we are 4th because Leeds have 2 games in hand). We have Lee & Moz to return, both fresh sometime in the next 4 weeks.

Totally agree. Wakey are certainly giving it all this season and have some good attacking players, but I would wan't to know how we conceded those points.

Thats about right for me. We are good in attack and rather poor in defence.

Look, we are not playing well in defence. There are some very sloppy mistakes and we have a chance with our next two league games to send out a message to two teams likely to be in the top 8. I reckon we will and I've always thought we would finish top 3. Still do. well, actually I thought we'd finish top but not so sure of that now. 3rd in the league and with a leaky defence. We will be all right.

Frustrating again today, had they managed to find touch with that penalty towards the end I think they would have left with the two points. It's the basic things we keep getting wrong, which I guess aren't too difficult to remedy. Whilst I don't agree with those who put all and sundry down to Briers being absent, it will be a big lift to have him back on the field soon. Onwards and upwards!

The best team in the league conceded 24 against 12 of us - if our defence was anything like as good we'd have beaten Hull, Huddersfield and Catalans as well as Warrington yesterday.

The way I saw it was two teams with plenty of attacking ability, speed and open play found the much improved weather to their liking when attacking, but also found that any chinks in defence will be more exploited than when the weather is bad. Looked like a similar story between Huddersfield and Hull KR in running up a 50-30 score.
