Doesn't render well (or work) in IE6. And before anyone goes "oh man that's really old" it's the second most popular browser going.

That's only because most business still use XP and haven't bothered updating it. IE6 is a horrendous piece of software.

I work in I.T and know that our boss wouldn't be happy if we still had IE6 installed on any system.

Upgrade your browser and get with the times!

Our lot have still got us on IE6 and won't upgrade and they are also a bloody big global company (UTC that own Otis Elevators, Sikorsky Helicopters, Pratt and Whitney Jet Engines and all sorts). Don't know why. Asked them about it last week without answer.

Ah yes my stats were out of date, they were end of 2009. It's now only the 4th most used browser in the world.

I've just made a bet with Burnzy Wire Wire actually concerning Wire and Wigan.

I dont support IE6 at all however I always try and make sure that the page will render into the browser, it may degrade and some functions not work but at least the user will see a site.

Big corporations won't upgrade until they are forced to due to the workload.

Swings and roundabouts because if sites no longer supported it then companies would be forced to change but because they are still using it designers still design for it.

The posetives of upgrading far outweigh the negetives and anyone using it should upgrade to either IE8, firefox or chrome.

You have to remember that the site uses the latest CSS styling and is very difficuly to code and test 100% for every single version of Internet Explorer across the world. Just nag your IT dept to upgrade for FREE!
