I did hear a story of an overseas player a few years ago, he wanted to go back to the NRL so he asked his club to release him with a year to go on his contract. The club agreed. Next thing they get a demand from his agent asking for a "compensation settlement" of most of his final years contract!

They have at least won some stuff, they have appeared in finals that they havent won, they have consistently finished higher in the league and been in more play offs.
