I respect your opinion, but I think it's slightly premature. Leeds have won 3 grand finals on the trot, warrington have just won the solitary playoff game (against leeds lol). Warrington are above leeds in the table, but I think leeds recent record should afford them some slack.

If warrington are stronger than leeds as you say, then they will take the title from them, or finish higher in the playoffs than leeds. Then there can be no complaints.

Leeds were not that good lets be honest

First 40 Wire were in control Leeds didn't get into our half till about 20 mins in and when you did it was off cheap pens which lead to other pens which you scored from.

Second half you scored with us missing King and then when Hicks went off lets face it you were on the racks and we bombed tries in the second half which would of made it closer not to mention kicks.

Leeds had 4 out so what we had 4 out along with King missing the start of the second half of the game and then Hicks for 10 mins where we lost the game.

He wasn't "crowing" though was he, he was responding to a previous post which said Warrington would have won if monaghan and myler played, he countered it saying we were also missing key players.
Let me tell you this, it would mean a hell of a lot more to a Warrington fan if you had won last night than it does to Leeds fans that we won and this forum and ours would be full of Warrington fans telling us how you are the best team thats ever played Rugby League, you take more fans away than anybody else etc etc.

Where did I say it was an easy Leeds win? I didn't. I said you were well beat. Leeds had to do it tough. I also agree Leeds have been well below par for the first half of the season losing to the pies and saints along the way. That says to me we have been a long way off been real contenders. most Leeds fans on these boards are under no illusions about where we are at as a team.

This is a forum of fans and that includes the doom and gloom fans who will always find something to moan about no matter how well things are going, the delusional fans who think we deserve to win every game we ever lose and every defeat is due to the ref and the missing players etc and the fans somewhere in the middle who can see the good and the bad and use common sense before posting.

Unfortunately the delusional fans and the doom and gloom fans ruin a good topic as their comments lead back to the same old arguments every time!!!

The simple fact is that a good team can beat anyone on their day in the right circumnstances, with everyone fit and the rub of the green going their way. A great team can beat anyone when they have players out and every decision is going against them.

Are Warrington a great team?
Well you cannot answer that until at the end of the season because this is a marathon not a sprint.

Every year we have gone into games knowing we could lose to Salford, Wakefield, Catalans etc etc, but at the same time we knew we were capable of beating Wigan, Leeds, Bradford etc. The only given was that we would lose to Saints.

Now we are comfortably beating Salford, Wakefield and Catalans etc without even getting out of 3rd gear, and we are performing on a level playing field with Saints, Wigan and Leeds.
We only just lost to Wigan in a game that so nearly went the other way, and we were beaten by Saints and Leeds who on the day played better than us.

Fact is we have come on a million miles from last season, and the defeats in during the regular season will mean nothing come the playoffs. I would much rather us make our mistakes now than in the playoffs. Tony Smith will take many more lessons from them defeats than he would from the massive wins against Huddersfield and Salford, and hopefully (fingers crossed) it is them lessons learnt that will help us come out on top in the playoffs come the end of the season.

Well I would be worried if I was a Leeds fan and that was there best.

According to the Leeds board its one of the best this season.

I thought we played ok, not as good defensively as the Melbourne game and not as good in attack as the Hull CC game.

First half you were pretty awful at times second half you were good.
