Well said..I only predict us to lose on our comp as I never predict owt right and I.ll tip us to get beat at hull kr..if I have a flutter at the bookies I would never back our opponents....

So you can never be wrong then can you. I've not looked in your prediction league, you write in threads about games that Saints will lose every week. We were going to get battered by Cas at Magic and by Wakefield in the Cup. Neither of them were even remotely close to happening.

Now take Warmsley and Thompson of Saints. ...and play Lomax with one hand...I don't care who Saints play....they get beat.

He did. He's done okay to be fair, but one of three Saints players to bomb easy opportunities against London, any one of which would have killed the game off.

Our main men are Coote, Roby and Lomax. Only Roby played against London and has played for several weeks needing a groin operation, which is finally happpening next week. The 17 there was more than capable of beating London, more of an attitude and focus issue than anything to do with personnel.

How Long's departure will affect things is also one to look out for.

I think it was more London club unity and astro pitch that won it for them....that's what I went with for my prediction but I can't dismiss your reason.

I think you need to keep up, its already happened. Roby has only played 10 full super league games this season and has been playing injured in his last 3 games. From memory we have not lost a game when he has not played this season, I'm not aware of us going into bragging overdrive, we are no longer a one man team these days unlike others.

Ps your fellow fan Saddened states that Roby is one of your 3 main men, and interestingly he is the only forward in that ménage a trois.

From the odd times i have seen him , Theo Fages seems to be a good deputy for Roby, & is a dangerous player for any opposition to deal with.

I'm not in the least concerned what team Saints put out...but resting players tells me they are far more worried about us than we are them.

I think its in the belief that they got squad management wrong last season and want to correct it.

They tried making every post a winning one... whereas seasoned finalists Wire and Wigan build throughout, content to lose a game enroute.

We started resting players to emulate a self inflicted handicap knowingly the Wire will fail miserably to catch up.

Great plan, I hope it works for you. I really don't enjoy watching saints dominate superleague only to win nothing, last year was painful for me, I don't think I could cope again. The worst thing was that it seemed like all of our hugely popular saints fan forum contributors disappeared for quite some time.

I certainly hope you emulate it.

I should imagine by the end of July we will back to playing a full strength team whilst other teams could well be battered and bruised.
