Correct and strangely none of them noticed it.

Referee had no choice though - if he'd played on, when could he have called the game as over? The timekeeper was wrong - I reckon Briers would have dropped a goal from that position. Good job it didn't cost you the game.'"
They also said in the commentary there are two times keepers on from Hull Kr and one from Warrington to keep each other honest.
Bentham said even though he called time off once the hooter has sounded thats that.
At the end of the day it didn't cost us the win so lets not get too hung up on it leave it for Cummings to sort out his performance.

| Quote ="HKRKid"Stanley Gene should have had more than a warning for almost killing your player with a swinging arm, if that would have connected....
Mathers also should have been yellow carded for holding back Welham, Fox was in support and with their pace I could have seen a try there.
Best team won over all, even if Welham did get a try from the aforementioned incident. You ground us down with constant attack, our defence crumbled and the only player who looked slightly interested in extra time was Paul Cooke.
You best go on and win it now!!
'"
Agreed with you fully there. Gene should have been at least yellow carded for that high tackle even though he missed the intent was there.
Mathers tackle was a proffesional foul so 10 minutes deserved there too.

| Why didn't Bentham let Clarke play on instead of forming the scrum? That was a very poor decision.

| Of course I'm only gonna point out the bad decisions from a Rovers fan point of view but;
1) Mathers should have got 10mins as Fox was on Whelam's shoulder and one of them would have been under the sticks.
2) Anderson's knock on at the play the ball late in the game.
3) Mathers foot was in touch late in the game and we should have had a scum 10m from the line.
I'm sure Wire fans would be able to point out similar errors but I thought Wire deserved to win even though no team deserved to lose.

He wasn't backed up by his touch judges, tv ref or the time keepers. Even if he had a great game there still would have been too many talking points.
PS since when have they started showing the video that the TV ref is watching while he is making his decision at the ground?

| Some poor reffing decisions, but I think Wire had a little more luck with them.
King's forward pass for Clarke's try.
Forward pass in the Webster try.
Swings and roundabouts.
To be honest though the key difference for me was that Rovers made errors in the wrong part of the pitch ie their half.
Either side could have won - I'm just glad to have got through it.

| The pass from King to Clarke for the try was genuine momentum, the speed on which King was running needs to be taken into consideration and when you watch it again he actually throws the ball backward due to his body position and his hand movement you can tell that the ball was supposed to go back.
Good decision from Benthem imo.
Webster try was a forward pass and you can tell this by watching the player making the pass, his body never twisted and his hand movement were in a forward direction so momentum shouldn't be taken into consideration as the player made no attempt to throw the ball backwards.
Bad decision from Benthem imo.

| A quick question here, When King hit the ball in the air over our own line, and Briers caught it and then was taken into touch, Bentham said that the bomb was defused, which at the time I though was correct. But then, watching the Celtic vs Wakefield game late last night, I see that wakefield did the same, yet it was a dropout as he was tackled behind his own try line. Which decision was wactually correct?

As far as I am aware, that wasn't taken on the full, as it had come off another player, but maybe I'm wrong, as the ball didn;t touch the floor...

Despite many people thinking this momentum thing is a load of nonsense that Stevo has made up, it is actually in the rulebook.
I thought Dave Woods and Noble did a good job of explaining the fact that it wasn;t a forward pass.

No mate, your wrong,
The momentum rule does exist and due to the reasons ive stated in my last post the Clarke try was momentum, the Webster try was a forward pass, if we play to the rulebook then these are the decision's that should have been made.
