What???!!!! Just because he's played the game professionally, has learned his trade as a coach working alongside some of the best, turned the Wire around last season taking us to both finals, steered us to 2nd place in the table so far this year with an extra win compared to this time in either 2016 or 2018, knows the players, their injury situation, what my be effecting them off the pitch? What sort of a reason is that????!!!!

Team selection should be left to a committee of spectators (I say 'spectators' because we clearly need to preclude anybody who actually attends matches every week), some of whom may have played the game whilst at High School, meeting in the Lower Angel on a Wednesday evening. Then maybe we'd win something.

Patton has it inow him...I've seen his talent.
He isn't doing it...there's a difference from not being capable.

Austin is struggling the last couple of weeks because of the inept half back partner in Patton that we have. With Ratchford now injured I can now see us struggling for a good while now. Why not give Riley Dean a shot what harm can it do.

Yes I have been this season. Only missed one and that was the Hull game last week. But how many chances does Patton need. Obviously imo he is not good enough.

As chances..well I'd have dropped him after last week.
However he has as many chances as the injury situation allows.

Our pack hasnt been great in recent weeks, and its no coincidence that Austin's performance have tailed off a bit on the back of our forwards not laying the platform. However, Austin will have off games, everyone does. My issue is, do we have anthoer half back who can run and game and dictate play when hes off the boil? At the minute, no. Dec has had his chances, and for where Wire want to be he is far from good enough. Im hoping Brown is back sooner rather than later, as i genuinely think Austin and Brown would be a great mixture.....

We are certainly going to have to do it tough for the foreseeable....these injuries will probably seen Dec given another chance, although a bloke i stand next to at the game has given some big raps to the Riley Dean (is it?), seems to be wowing in the U'19. For me, if your good enough, your old enough...give him a go.
