WOW! what a performance. Magnificent. Ashton is very very good...he's only going to get better on dry tracks! I feared for our pack tonight...but they stood up and matched Saints very well. Walmsey getting injured in the warm up was a big help...but Saints had more than enough out on the park to avoid a white wash.

Not going to get too carried away after two games. We had a very good start last year and we now how that panned out. Something to build on...if we can stay fit and consistent, then we will be challenging come the sharp end of the season.

Why was Percival running around trying to put big hits in? Not your game that, bro.

Great performance from everyone tonight. Price has a good head ache when everyone is fit. Should allow us to rotate the halves and Ashton at fullback. My only small criticism is sometimes going for the two points early on in the game. Wish we would try for a try. Great game WIRE

i was replying to someone else there.... But just to re-iterate... Ben Currie was excellent tonight.... His best game in ages.. long may it continue.

Won't hear from these 2 till saints win again...hopefully they pop up in June...

Wire deserved their win tonight, StHelens were oughtfought, outthought and outsmarted.

The scoreline could have been closer, or it could have been wider still..... it was that kind of game!

Cant give you an argument. You could see him in and around everyone all night. You could see the responses and respect he commands. Ive been saying for 2 years he should be captain. Awsome tonight.

What a change from last season. Thought I'd stepped back into 2011 for a while. Fabulous display from us leaving Stains bloodied, beaten and bruised as well as nilled. Sky could have picked any in P&B as MOM but I would have given it to Ben Currie. Will do wonders for his confidence.

Oh dear lord it's unbelievably good. I've said it for years now Mike Cooper is a MUCH better prop than luke Thompson. If you want to be world class then step up when you're mate is out. Walmsley is miles better and a huge loss for them tonight. The internationals burst Mr Thompsons bubble as did tonight. Hull will muller em.

So pleasing to see how Joe Philbin has developed into the real deal, I remember his first SL game when he showed signs of promise but he now looks fully fledged.
