No, the original point was that since the intro of SL that each team adopted an animal or figure to go with their team, and someone pointed out the teams without animals, yet i pointed out that although they didn't have animals they had adopted something else instead. It's that simple.

I'll just point out I didn't dislike what you said (until you resorted to insulting me personally) I was just questioning what your point was. As I said originally, someone said all super league teams had animals in the name,then someone countered it and then you said what the names of wigan, salford, hudds and salford were.

I still don't understand what your point was. Either way I don't care. You have become very defensive yourself though. I thought I was being helpful and you respond with insults and sarcasm.

When stood on the terraces I never hear the word wolves mentioned. I think we have the balance right. The club can market us as the wolves and we get the benefits from that, yet the fans "own" the wires thing and keep it alive through our dialect when talking about rugby and singing on the terraces.

That's something that won't die and I like that.

I couldn't agree more, the fans have kept our roots, the likes of Wigan have also done this and i'm sure Saints fans won't change even though they are being rebranded to the Saints RLFC.
