Because it was deemed a shoulder charge .. if he raises his arm yellow card but he drops his arm n leads with shoulder watts is falling which did not help he will get games for it lucky if back for the final

Few thoughts come if this.

1: We had the game wrapped at 32-0, should have shut up shop and took the players we need most off (Cooper, Widdop, Ratchford) and out 13 out there to wind down the clock and keep them at 0.

2: Marty Ashton has to be in the 17 next week now, but where.

3: Why do we insist on playing with 16 men.

Awful spell but we have finished the game well since we got 12 back on the pitch.

I'm glad cas got something to celebrate, not a nice way for a season to end with a walloping although I didn't enjoy watching their comeback at all. Barring a really sloppy 15 minutes or so that was a good test before the playoffs and for me an unexpected win.

Actually settled this down well in the last 10 minutes. Cas maybe ran out of steam, but still done well to come out of this with a win with a player down.

I fear the damage has been done for our play off hopes though, if Cooper gets the suspension I'm expecting.

Agree about Ashton, was really good came up with big moments tonight in attack. The lads forcing 2 dropouts in the last 10 was fantastic game management.

I don't understand longstaff not coming on at all. Why? It's not like he hasn't proved himself worthy of gametime this season.

Agreed, Shenton has been a fantastic servant to rugby league. Fantastic player, fantastic career.

Real shame he went out with an injury tonight. Good talker too, maybe he could replace Phil Clarke and make sky presentation more palatable.

4. Why did we not bring Ellis Longstaff on? He may as well have been tucked up in bed with a cup of tea.

To be fair, it probably comes down to what you want from your centre. Both offer positives in different ways. Mamo obviously has a x factor about him and can provide an unexpected spark, while Matuatia, for me, just looks a more solid all round centre, better hands, stronger near the line.

Won't argue too much with anyone who sees it differently though.
