Got to have players in the top 4 in any position to challenge for a cup/top League spot.

It’s a tactic a few teams are now using i.e full back takes the kick offs.

Leaves 12 players for the kick chase instead of 11, as the full back would not normally join the kick chase as it would leave him out of position..

You can add Brett Hodgson to that list.

Significantly more experienced too. I will admit I cande him after his performances against Wakefield and Caltalans, as long as he is consistent and doesn't go from one extreme to another, that is all you can ask.

Let him grow into the role. You can't just buy ready made players.

Incidentally Azue should have been tackled long before he even got to Riley.

My first two main criteria when looking at fullbacks is - they can take a high bomb under pressure and that they are a strong one on one tackler. If a player isn't strong in both those areas i'm not keen on them playing in that position.

I say again i don't know of ANY full-back in the world that could have stopped a charging Azue from 5 yards out!

Azue went in because there was 2 on 1 against Riley. He opted not to commit until late on as he was half watching for the pass to the supporting player. It was a try if he went to tackle him and a try if he didn't. nothing he could do really.

He nailed somebody one-on-one. Can't remember who though.

He did great to stop him one on one did everything right, he went low on Azue around the legs and was unlucky. A Solid performance from Riles, keep it up lid.

I thought the young lads were exceptional yesterday. Riley, Cooper and Harrison. I would have given Harrison MOM.
Riley did make a couple of errors at the end, but no more or less then any of the others on the pitch, but probably more noticable....

Or mine, though to be honest I think the paper-boy has been taking the Micky and doctoring mine as it has Michael Dobson in second place in their Albert Goldthorpe Medal (although that award is obviously cranked as Micahael Monaghan came joint 2nd last year and it has been clinically proven on here that prior to yesterday Monaghan has never had even a half decent game for Warrington) for yesterday's match.

He shouldn't have been in the position were he had to make that tackle; two of our props seemed to crash into one another in keystone cops style whiich allowed Aizue to break the line.

That was quite humourous.

He was like a bullet out of a gun, or a bar of soap squirting out of your hands.

Yep, he certainly provided them with good impact off the bench. I think Moz and Rah were tired at that point, still should of done better.
