| I say every single one of those the same way. I've never really used "offy", but that's because our local beer providing shop is "t'cworp"

Marbles are called ollies in my book.
Also, real Warringtonians call the town 'Wazza'.

real warringtonians call each other Cock...or Cocker...an old boss of mine from Bolton had never heard it used anywhere else in the world....he'd heard of duck from Stoke but not "cock"....and was quite amazed by it....
a bloke from Latchford i know calls Lamposts "Gammies"...... which was slang for Gas light..which is obviously what a lamp post was years ago.....

No I am simply saying that the pub next too the stadium can not afford too stay open when it has the rugby on it's doorstep for 13 - 18 matches a year. But the royal oak branch has suvived and did suvive when the place was dead apart from match days.
Your sitting on a gold mine if you had that pub. whearas it has closed down. (How can a pub not suvive when it will take 90% of it's earnings on match days. And not make a profit) royal oak did.

Taking a lad from Folkestone in Kent to Wembley. He still can't get his head round how I talk, not least how ending most of my utterances with 'cock' isn't insulting; he's going to have a great day with our lot.
