We, more than most clubs fans should be aware that these figures are often vastly inflated and wholely inaccurate.

He's a quality signing, one that for me, makes Bradford watchable again and I look forward to seeing how he goes there. He's not really got that stunning a backline running off him, but he'll get good go forward from their pack i'd imagine.

Quite comparable to our Langer signing...Bringing in a top scrum half, but surrounded pretty much by mediocrity.

Always get the feeling with signings like this that it is more about pleasing the fans, and selling slow moving season tickets....

The problem with Morley was the four year deal. Most clubs offered him a two year deal because they knew, that after 2008 he would be long past it. We were the only mugs who would let ourselves be roped into paying his wages in 2009, he couldn't even lift the Challenge Cup on his own he needed Briers to help.

We tried to sign him twice and he turned down the money to stay in the NRL, he would have been outstanding for us and i was really disappointed he never came. he used us to get better deals back home. he's now 32 and looking for a big pay day which you can't blame.

One of the main reasons for turning us down was his ambition to play SoO and for aus which never really materialised for some reason.

I hope Bradford get there moneys worth from him, but we've all seen how long it can take for an aussie to settle to life in the grim north of England compared to the beaches of sydney.

Came to Wire when we were treading water and just surviving was seen as a success....Great player, and often performed admirably, only to be let down by the mediocrity around him...Ultimately, was only brought in to shift season tickets and keep some money coming in when we desparately needed it.

Matt Orford's move smells of similar....I'm thinking the Bulls weren't exactly generating much of a buzz around Bradford with the big name signings of Sculthorpe & Reardon??....Bring in a big name Aussie, who without a shadow of a doubt will be your best player for the next 3 years, but only because so much of the rest of your squad is so average.
