I don't think you'll get 48% in the Dec remain camp. He's not alone in our failings but as a SL half back he's just nowhere near the required standard.

If we keep putting out the same halfback combo and same spine support...how can we expect anything more than the same results as the week previous and in the future.
The signs were there vs Saints and so obvious vs Salford that change was required. It didn't happen.
Ratchford at halfback is a serious ratchet up a notch and I will expect a shift in gear for future games if we stick with this.

Let’s face it, he’s no scapegoat, he’s just not very good.

He’s limited and average in pretty much everything he does and in such a key position we just can’t afford a player lacking in so much quality.

He’s played over 100 games for us now and has had a good run in the team and has proved to be sub-standard. No excuses now, he needs to be took out of the firing line.

It’s not his fault, I’m sure he’s a good lad and I’d be made up if he proved me wrong but we’ll struggle to win anything while he’s a regular in our side.

Buck stops with Price and the club on this for me though. He wasn’t the answer last year, so what made us think he would be now? Should’ve gone out there pre-season and replaced Brown when we had the chance.

Plenty of players not good enough/not firing for us at the moment. But at some point most of them have proven themselves worthy of a starting jersey. If he wasnt a local lad he would have been hung, drawn and quartered by now. He offers less than Rodwell and he was pilloried.

Nobody was available though were they, at that stage of a season it is stupid for any club to release even a back up halfback if he is half decent as they will need him in case their first choice gets injured. The only players we could have signed would have been unsigned cast offs. Can you imagine how people would have viewed it if a home grown lad like Patton had been sitting on the bench all year while we were watching some cast off potter about being garbage.

If Brown will be back (relatively) soon then there's little point moving Ratchford out of fullback only to put him back there again.

Yes Dec was rubbish yesterday not for the first time. My bigger concern is for the last couple of weeks Austin seems to have been playing on one leg. He is clearly not 100%. Crikey if he has to take a rest we are in some doo doo.
