| I don't get why he didn't play today, would have better than Monaghan and I reckon he's worth his place ahead of Higham anyway.

Sorry Reidy 21 are you trying to say he would have been better than Monaghan? If so, get real. Question, Why have Warrington improved over the last few years Answer Monaghan at Hooker Simples.

Totally agree that Warrington have improved with Monaghan at hooker but he wasn't himself today, defensively good as always but he was clueless going forward, the reason why Salford scored their first try through a bad decision giving the ball to Solomona to kick on the last. His scoots were very ineffective and if you watch enough they generally are but he gets the odd that breaks the line. Just think that Clarke would have done a job today.

I dont get that his scoots are generally ineffective as he is so creative for us with Myler, Briers and Hodgson playing of his shoulder (Normally). Had Tony Smith played Clarke today instead on Monnas the crowd would have been in uproar. Thisd is not bashing Clarke, its just on past weeks performances.

They don't usually though, Monaghan seems to just run off away from Briers and Hodgson when we get a quick play the ball and he scoots. How can it be on past weeks performances when Clarke hasn't played?

| Smith is to blame for not re arranging the game. To boot Morley got injured within the first 5 minutes and never recovered. IMO its too much to ask the likes of Morley and Hodgson to back up.

Erm how can I put this? Because Monnas has and hes been great. Clarke is not up to standard as lets face it, Smith sees him on a daily basis and doesn't fancy him. Memories are nice but there are times you just have to let things go.

That was my opinion and I stick by it and personally I think we should agree to disagree, because we could go on arguing our points all night.

| After we had trouble playing twice in a short space of time at Easter, as soon as I heard that this game was going ahead I suspected we would lose, with so many players backing up from Friday. Add the weather conditions into the mix and it was a game with 'banana skin' stamped all over it. But on the other side of the argument, if we'd called it off, we would have had to rearrange it later in the year anyway, probably on a midweek date (hoping that we won't have any Challenge Cup weekends free!). So wouldn't it have been just delaying the problem if we'd called it off? My overriding emotion tonight is annoyance, mixed with quite a bit of relief at how the other results went!

| I'm gonna put that defeat down to friday's game, you could tell that some of our players were feeling it, the likes of hodgson, myler, mozza, carvell were all knackered espicially when we had to get ourselves back into the game. I thought myler tried to influence the game but fatigue played its part as the game went on , when the opponents kicked the ball myler was always the last player back which is never usually the case. I thought briers had a bad game, his kicking was poor. But results have gone our way and i bet the lads cant wait to put the result right against KR next sunday .Keep the faith.

A combination of Friday's game and the weather is a fair common denominator with how the top four have faired today. Too much of a coincidence to all have been involved in low scoring losses/draws.

| I've seen nothing to suggest that Rhys Williams is better than Riley. He's bigger and people on here have said he's quicker, but that can only be on track-style sprinting because in terms of his movements and reactions he is much slower.
Some fat bald idiot near me was blaming Grix.
That aside, it was clearly Clarke's fault.

| I blame no one.
It was just one of those days, Sailors would call it the perfect storm, when seemingly unimportant events that by themselves cause no effect but when added together collide and cause problems.

| Blame no one, we didn't show up today in poor conditions, Salford kept the ball and defended brilliantly IMO.
We didn't take our chances and there were to many drop ball.

| I think I might have to take some blame for this. For the last 10 years I've been bringing my mum to one or two home games per year and prior to today she'd never seen us win at home. I took her along today and she's still never seen us win at home. I may just have to accept that she's clearly cursed.
In all seriousness though, it was obvious that both Friday and the weather had a major effect on all of the top four clubs. The fatigue shown by some of the players doesn't concern me too much, as that's the last time this season that any of the players will have to play twice in a weekend. The performance in the rain concerns me a bit more however, as I seem to remember it being a problem last year (playoff game against Hudds?). Our game obviously suits dry conditions where the ball can be flung about all over the place, but it's a fair bet that come September and October we'll be playing a crucial game in rainy conditions and will need to adjust our style of play accordingly.

being honest here friday nights game was not to blame, myler, moz, bridge, hardly broke into a sweat on fri benny was awesome on fri and today, he showed no signs of fatigue we just was not at the races, salford came with a plan and stuck to it.
