While you have a point with some, (and I don't agree with JM > TL at the time), how many did we have any choice in? If I recall correctly Vagana wanted to leave, Gleeson was seen as a bad penny, Hodgson ?retired?
Hardly looks like a trend as suggested by "the Warrington Way".

Vagana was a centre with a number 6 on his back for Wire then then NRL came calling and he was off. So not really our choice to ship on.
I'd have thought Adam Doyle was Vagana's more horrifying like for like replacement.

I thought Sid Domic was Toa's replacement in 2002, thats a debate for another day on who was the better of those two....

I'll never have a problem with shipping out Gleeson and bringing in Mathers he was visibly an improvement to the team both in enthusiasm and general play. we never looked back and then replaced him with an even better fullback. Gleeson might have won a grand final with Wigan that year but I'm not sure he was instrumental in their success and bombed out of the playing ranks shortly after.

Hodgson simply has never been replaced and listing Kevin Penny as his replacement is off the mark.
Similarly listing a 34 year old winger being replaced by a 23 year old exciting prospect isnt that bad, Monas was clearly on his last legs.

Sims regardless of his vocal wishes to stay, those fell on deaf ears...prop to replace him.
Gidley to go to be replaced by Barba, utility hb...can play any back role.
The centre yet to revealed, heard he was in advanced talks but the delay is worrying, it could mean there his difficulties with this... maybe contractual but my guess this is held up pending a medical report. I hope to hear something soon, I'll be gutted if it falls through.

I also think Eastmond would be a top signing- great athlete and difficult to pin down.

New has not signed yet. Will be announced in the next month however like RD stars the delay is very concerning and the club are a tad worried.

Jimmy (the jet) Roberts would provide the speed we all yearn for. Looks settled at the Broncos now but he has had a lot of clubs for a player so young.

Doesn't he have a season ending achilles injury? I wonder what made Salford back out of the deal following their "research".

The RFU season is already over but his Achilles heal has been open knowledge.
