You know any disciplinary cases from now on, each and every one of them is now going to get appealed, just on principle of this last couple of weeks, its going to be a massive waste of RFL time.

Agree with this and Paul's previous post I don't understand how an appeal is or can be based on the length of the punishment.

Surely an appeal should be referenced and restricted to a technical reason why decision innocent or guilty is inappropriate? Any of this we admit the guilt but think it's a bit harsh routine should result in an upgrade in punishment along the lines of 'stop skriking or I'll give you something to skrike about'?

Double jeopardy the appeal, lose the case and you get another game ban plus a club fine of £10k donated to a RL charity.

You don't automatically get another game. Only if the appeal panel believes the original sentence was too light.

Irrespective of clubs, i think points deductions for serious offences would focus the minds of coaches ,players & chairmen as well as suspensions.

It will be a disgrace if he plays. What he did was far worse than what Sims and Singleton got one match each for. We want consistency from the RFL not decisions based on who they play next and who they play for. Sadly I expect a one match ban followed by the Ape man appealing then reduced to a fine. No consistency.

Reading the disciplinary report I noticed Wane was not there with him,he as been at the last few must of thought he would get off.
