It could be the smack heads that rob their neighbours.
It could be the chavs with the staff bulls who swagger down the street during the day drinking cider.
It could be the same chavs that attack innocent people for no reason later in the day.
It could be the drug dealers making a mint selling coke and weed and taking dole/benefit money out of the system.
It could be the people housed straight out of prison, who get out of their head on pcp and go round the estate slamming house bricks through car windows as soon as they are released.
Or maybe its the ones that simply set cars on fire for 'something to do'.
Or maybe its the ones that target elderly people as being easy targets.. beating them in their own homes and taking a couple of quid in the process.

All of which happened on my estate... Best thing I ever did was buy a house and move out of there...

of course not all people on council estates are scum.. there are some really good people that live on council estates... But there is no getting away from the fact that there are alot of scum on council estates.

In reality flags were put up because they were sold in Asda during the world cup in an attempt to boost sales through association with the England football club by leveraging national pride.

Don't be fooled by what has happened. The people who have caused it are in the small minority. IMO one of the reasons we don't trust our neighbours any more is due to all the bad publicity and scaremongering media that is out there. The Daily Wail and DI-ly Express is a printed version of Grumpy Old Men, while The Scum and The Magic Mirror on the Wall consists of tits and violence.

While were all complaining about flags and the length of time its took to take them down, how many of you put flags up for the CC Final and how long did you leave them up for? We had ours up for ages likes months after wards, and in fact still have a sticker in the window. Thats pride not chavviness. I personally would like to see more England flags about. Maybe a bit more national pride might rub off on that shower that went to Africa. It works for America where loads of people have their country's flag up.

Difference is fella, the Americans are very patriotic. If someone walks down the street (or boulevard!!!) and sees Old Glory, they will more than likely salute the flag.

If people walked past the red cross of St George, it's more than likely that they will contact their nearest police station/council office and complain.

The only two that shown some national pride were terry and gerrard, i was atleast expecting rooney to two foot someone against germany as his passion goes to far but he didnt seem to care

Gerrard is the only player I've seen who actually seems to care about the fans. 0-0 at halftime in Barcelona against Andorra and the fans were booing (I wasn't), the only player that came over to us, trying to gee us up etc was Gerrard, he was also the only one that seemed to actually want to win the game.
