Myler was superb, great support play, fast, good organising, good creativity and his defence was'nt bad either..... Harrison was strong in defence as well as going forward and i thought Solomona looked the part but could be a little more disaplined with ball in hand but that probably makes him the player he is...... It's only Leigh i know but a few promising signs and some extra defencive work against Wigan and i'd be happy going into the start of the season.

Loved all their injured players. When the two leigh players knocked each other out and went off on a stretcher

, only difference is we got relegated , so yes there is a big gulf in class , you could tell you had had a week of warm weather training , wereas we have been trying to find somewhere solid underfott to train

Anything other than a top 3 finish for you will be a poor season , if we avoid relegation again that will do for us

Thought Mitchell had a solid game. Myler was excellent. I've watched a lot of rubbish pre season games over the years but our performance today was very very good. In previous years we would have been drawn into a niggly type game but today they seemed focused and very much up for it.

Agree on Mitchell. I thought he looked excellent when he came on. He looked like he has been working hard in the gym as well. He could turn out to be a nice suprise this season.

There is a big gulf between Non Relegation league and the Championship. It is the same between Championship and Championship 1.

Knocking Leigh's performance isn,t really fair. Second half they competed and 24-16 was very creditable given the difference in spending Wire and Leigh are allowed under the respective salary caps

Ben Harrisons hit on Mort was one of the hardest (legal) tackles i've seen in 15+ years of watching RL AND the best bit is it's only a trial game! If he carries on with his progress, VAnderson wont even get a look-in. Have to agree with whoever made the comment about Myler being Shaun Edwards-esque when it comes to backing-up and anticipating the kick. The Briers-Myler combo will do a lot of damage this season with the pack we have in front of them, if they stay fit. I've been checking the odds for top try scorer too, like everyone else i fancy a cheeky punt on Myler.

mylers signing will be best deal in sl since we got rid of gleese and got ritchie .
as you will see a great season from mr briers this year who will up his game as lee never likes to be 2nd best to his half back partner. yet again another signing masterstroke.
