For the continued development of the game it would be good to see a Wigan v Huddersfield GF. Here's hoping.

How so, you used to win you're fair share back then?

FWIW I think Saints have a good chance but we can easily lose to Hudds at home if they turn it on. Plus with Matty Smith as the last halfback standing, Saints are surely not favourites and may lose a 4th consecutive final. It would hurt but it wouldn't be unexpected.

I'm sure other Saints fans are more optimistic than me.

Leeds to scrape past Wigan, on one leg with even more injuries in a real bruiser in the other semi.

Huddersfield,not because they beat us,but because they have been up there for a long time and like us not won anything for a long time.dont paticularly hate any of the others just nice to see other clubs win things.

I'm getting a bit bored watching Leeds year in year out in the World Club Challenge tbh. Would love Huddersfield to win but can't see it.

no surprise that none of you lovely wire fans are backing Saints then . seeing as most of you have shouted for any bu**er but us in all the last finals Saints have contested , still you wont be missed will you, you can sing for who you want!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't care. It's not to be Wire so all I hope for is a good final with the levels of intensity & excitement befitting the Grand Final.

What really gets my goat is "it would be good for the game if ....... win it". What a load of cobblers. The best team on the day will win it & surely that would be good for the game? Over the last two seasons the theory that only the "Big 4" of Wigan, Saints, Leeds or Bulls can win trophies has been blown out of the water. Cases can be justifiably made for each of the last 4 winning - Saints for the Cunningham Factor, Leeds for doing it against the odds & going for 4 in a row, Wigan as they have been at the top all season, and Huddersfield because of the run of results they have had in the last 2 months. Surely that is "good for the game", not just having someone not Leeds or Saints winning...

I want to see a wigan v saints final. Did want Hudds at first but would rather a lancashire team win the GF.

Leeds or Huddersfield. All this 'good for the game' nonsense. Bothered. I want Warrington to win every trophy available and if we can't (as has proved the case for the 125 years) then our least fierce rivals.

Would love to see the Saints win it obviously but got tickets for the grand final and looking forward to it regardless of who wins. I think it will be a great game.

Glad to see Huddersfield in the last four as they have played some really good stuff over the last few weeks and definitely deserved their victory on Saturday. If Saints dont get there Hudds will definitely have the neutrals behind them.

In response to one of the other posters commenting on the possibility of losing four in a row. Such an attitude is petty small mindedness in the extreme. To get to four in a row is a great achievement. If it was your club that had done this I am sure you would be really proud. in addition I think if we make it five finals in a row it will be a record.

A final without Saints and Leeds would make a refreshing change. Initially I wanted Huddersfield, as the rank outsiders left in it, to go on and win, but on second thoughts much as I dislike wigan I do think that they deserve it more than any other team.

I would love to see a wigan v Huddersfield final, but I suspect that normal service will be resumed with Saints facing Leeds at OT. However I think that Saints will finally manage to gain some revenge on Leeds and may well 'take the to the cleaners'!

Huddersfield to beat Wigan in the final, preferably after being 20 odd points up at half-time, having their lead eroded by a sterling fightback, only to seal it at the death with a 90 yard interception from Cudjoe (ideally off an errant pass from Gleeson).
