This, with addition of support the ball carrier in attack. It's so obvious which problems to remedy that will have the most impact*, that's causing the frustration with me and no doubt many others. I think this season is done, but would be delighted should that not be the case.

I would always say Wire because I simply can’t bet against my own club, however even I gave up under Powell last season because of the shat show of recruitment, especially the lacking of a quality pack, in particular props.

I gave DP only the benefit of doubt this season, and had to assume that these very core club players ousted, were in fact the infectious disease they were made out to be. I’m shamed by that.

The prop options, as listed above, are in preference order and ideally deployed 3 at a time, 3 starters with 3 in rotation, with Clark and Walker alternating at 9 with Currie and Nicholson at 11/12. That is the pack that could get you in a decent contest.

I knew what you meant and fact you left Dudson out was good, when I saw this weeks line up I was surprised to see Crowther at 13 and not Nicholson seeing that it’s his preferred position.

Wasn’t expecting Salford to be beating Saints though when I looked at the remaining fixtures.

So 5th and 6th up for grabs and I think it’s down to these 4. Looking at the fixtures I would say HKR have the toughest run in plus they have the cup final.

Culturally you’re like us at Hull, something is rotten (hopefully tony smith is sorting us out).

All your fixtures are winnable but equally the way you’re playing says you could lose them all.

I won’t be confident when we come up against you but I think if Hull can beat you and Leeds we’ll make the 6. And it’s the same for you and Leeds in the hunt.

I think if the league gets much worse ,the likes of Saints ,Wigan & Leeds squads will be able to have 2 months in the Caribbean & still come back & get to Old Trafford. It is ridiculous that we should still be in with a shout.

I suppose it isn't ridiculous due to our amazing start - that was always going to give us a chance. The league table actually looks pretty similar to the NRL table where everybody has a chance of beating everybody else and it's fairly tight. Alas the NRL table looks that way due to widespread quality throughout the league, whereas ours is due to widespread cack throughout all squads.

Usually happens to some teams after winning or losing at Wembley as we know...be surprised if kr get in play offs and expect Leigh to slide down table...can only see saints Wigan and Catalans fighting it out for end of season final

My call would be Catalans and Wigan (although I accept it's difficult to completely rule Saints out).
