What a try

I enjoyed that try. Williams should have scored rather than trying to find dufty but quality from Nicholson. Hopefully that will rattle Wigan a bit and they start coming up with some errors.

Before that move I think they had made more metres than us just with how far they've been moving off the mark and the extra metres gained from forward passes. Credit to them they know how to play these conditions.

The moving off the mark is so blatantly obvious that I find it incredible that the officials can't (or won't) pick up on it.

It's something that surely someone on our side should be making Kendall aware of?

Just hung in there. Fingers crossed it hasn't taken too much out of us and their reduction to 16 players balances out our obvious weariness.

They've battered us, if the officials noticed a blatant forward over a white line and the the video ref noticed a guy a metre off side who didn't ground the ball (when kendal sent it up as a no try) then we would have an undeserved lead here.

Seriously if that goes up as no try he has to have definite evidence to overturn and he looked at a single camera angle which definitely wasn't definitive. The only way the video ref can overturn it and give that is if he really, really wants to, i bet he's loving his half time pies here in his nice warm cherry and white scarf.

I know it's emotional, but it's not corrupt. Just a poor decision.

That try and the score line should give us some encouragement.

Wigan could and should have been out of sight. Albeit with that dodgy second try… he was offside NeverMind the bounce ball.

It was a corrupt decision, taken as quickly as possible to try to minimise the fallout, and if saying so gets me into trouble I will take the hit.

Wigan have had all the possession. We have taken 37 minutes of punishment and only 4 points down. Change the momentum and we could have this
It looks like Wigan wanted to shut the game out by half time. It hasn't happened. Fingers crossed. They'll wear themselves out and momentum will change.
As for the video ref try. The less said about that decision the better.

We need to match Wigan's lying on too as their ruck speed is much quicker as a result.

We don't look to have the energy Wigan have but I'm hoping Powell will impress upon them the need to win the arm wrestle down the middle.

Most petty penalty you'll see

So a high gets missed against one of our players then they get a penalty for less interference than they have been doing most tackles. Wow.

We aren't meant to win this are we.

I can appreciate good defence, but there's absolutely no chance that Wigan are onside when we are playing the ball.

Love to see us brave enough to try and counter it with a short kick over the top for Ashton.

The ref isnt interested in Wigans constant offside, slowing ruck, and moving off the mark. We were up against it anyway but this is surely too much.

I could be ultra critical but all the bad plays we are coming up with come back to the line up and the fact we are exhausted from the lack of forward power. When we get the ball we are recovering not attacking.

We've been found out a little tonight, but some bad decisions and tired bodies and depleted ranks have come home to roost too.

Christ, sky are made up. I think last week was a better game than this, but they've just said this has been the game of the year. SMH.
