I think mamo looks a lot better on the wing. It's not his fault stef was out for so long which exposed his flaws at fullback, he played well today. BMM was great, I hope he does longer minutes from now on.

Pretty much agree. We need to see more from BMM, but I'd play him almost in the centres (when we've got the ball). He needs room, so he can get more momentum into his runs. He's more restricted, when playing centrally

Me too, the last few performances just sapped the confidence out of me. Today shows how critical it is for us to stick to the game plan, control territory and complete sets. Our game plan is so territory based that cheap field position causes us big problems.

Great to have Ratchford back, BMM is a lot more effective with more minutes and the pack battled really hard.

He needs to find a mismatch in the defence that's when he is at his best. Our attack is often too obvious which enables opposition to get the numbers on him. He was a real handful today, he ran good lines and he ran in very hard too. I hope he has set his standard for the rest of the season, playing like that he improves us a great deal.

You don't think he has a point? You're asking more of the other 16 if you don't have any intention of using one of your subs! If you have an injury and are down to 16 in a match are you disadvantaged? If so then surely having 17 on the team and using all of them is better than only planning on using 16. It suggests that tasi isn't good enough really and is there to cover injury only, the only other explanation is tasi is carrying a knock and being looked after but if that was the case why not just pick moran instead?

I was not sure if I had missed him coming on then off but his leg was heavily strapped. I think he was an emergency sub we don't know if he was the only prop available but was not really match fit.

One positive is it will certainly helped with our fitness playing with 16 them extra minutes will hopefully help coming to the business end of the year.

When a team loses a replacement due to injury much is made of the impact this has. I think wondering why all 4 were not used is a reasonable question to which there may well be a reasonable answer. If you have a theory please help.

I was also of the opinion that we'd get turned over today, but I was pleasantly surprised by our effort, ball retention and discipline. There were phases when Hull got the better of the arm wrestle, but we came through it. Good to have Ratch back, pity about Charnley, and I'm baffled with the selection and non appearance of Tasi. Not perfect, but who cares as were over the line and in the final.
