It's obvious why Saints lost today - according to the BBC Sports website they only started with 11 players on the pitch. Does anybody check the facts at the BBC or is it because it is Rugby League and nobody gives a damn. It really pi##es me off.

It made our rumour mill go off the scale around December.

He really isn't. He makes these ridiculous predictions every week. He's predicted a Warrington win in every big game you've ever had and he predicts we'll lose every week. He's more like the personification of 'even a broken clock is right twice a day'.

As for us, it wasn't hard to predict we'd struggle today. We've been rotating players for weeks now since we got the lead in the table, hence the close run games against the weaker sides. If anything it shows we've learned from last season and instead of just putting the foot to the floor all season and coming up short, this year we're rotating and dropping the intensity in certain periods so we can build it and be in the right position at the key moments. Whether that works or not is to be seen, but it shows we're not blindly repeating last season.

Funny that he's top of our prediction league...take it on the chin pal you can't win every game..one thing I.ll guarantee you.ll just see off Huddersfield thanks to child or hicks...see you at Wembley. Its down the m6..

Silently there will be a few Saints fans not that unhappy I suspect. If they win without him the bragging can go into overdrive. If they lose they were missing the greatest hooker ever to grace the game and it’s only a matter of time before they melt down the statue of Cunningham to re mould it into Roby and still have enough bronze left over to make a life size replica of a Centurion tank.

So you can never be wrong then can you. I've not looked in your prediction league, you write in threads about games that Saints will lose every week. We were going to get battered by Cas at Magic and by Wakefield in the Cup. Neither of them were even remotely close to happening.

....I haven't forgotten it's 3 in 16 but as Saddened brushed over yesterday's result to strengthen his point that 2 wrong is 'every' I thought to omit that to save his blushes.

To be fair Wakey were missing more players than Cas, and they were missing a lot...apparently.

At the time of my wakey posting I wasn't aware Fafita was out as well as Arona.
Now take Warmsley and Thompson of Saints. ...and play Lomax with one hand...I don't care who Saints play....they get beat.

He did. He's done okay to be fair, but one of three Saints players to bomb easy opportunities against London, any one of which would have killed the game off.

Our main men are Coote, Roby and Lomax. Only Roby played against London and has played for several weeks needing a groin operation, which is finally happpening next week. The 17 there was more than capable of beating London, more of an attitude and focus issue than anything to do with personnel.

How Long's departure will affect things is also one to look out for.

I think it was more London club unity and astro pitch that won it for them....that's what I went with for my prediction but I can't dismiss your reason.

I think you need to keep up, its already happened. Roby has only played 10 full super league games this season and has been playing injured in his last 3 games. From memory we have not lost a game when he has not played this season, I'm not aware of us going into bragging overdrive, we are no longer a one man team these days unlike others.
