I'm not really pointing the finger at anyone...although Levett was uncharacteristic expensive for us.
Our pack isn't big enough to tackle one the size of Catalans...it's not the packs fault...just what it is.

He is a favourite of mine, but no one is above criticism in my team.

When the opposition puts us under any kind of pressure we panic and loose all composure.
I will give a few typical examples.
Cooper (who i like) was pushed back by the dragons defence and panics because he is losing ground and tries a crazy offload. He did the same against Castleford when they upped their intensity.
Giving penalties away when we are in possesion (Charnley) and playing the ball with nobody at dummy half was very 2017.
The signs are a bit disturbing as when the opposition turns the screw in defence our structure goes out of the window and we start trying to make yards by just jumping out of dummy half.
We start appealing for penalties for high shots(patton) and loose any momentum whilst treatment / ref consults the VR the defence gets a breather.

We let the opposition off the hook on so many occasions. We just dont know how to put the foot on the throat.
The worse thing is that this is not just the last couple of weeks. Even on our winning run we struggled against the likes of Hull KR when they decided to play. We dont appear to be learning.

Wasn't trying to argue. Just legitimately didn't read right to me. I felt he did alright. Like you say, scored our first try, brilliantly i might add. Also scored what would have won the game too had it not been called forward. Had some nice touches and was hard to put down. Yes he did give away a few silly penalties though. Catalan are good at playing for them though.

God help us at Hull kr. They'd have this game earmarked.

Terrible. I’d pack Roberts off home right away. Talk about stealing a wage.

Light in the pack. Chucking the ball round for the sake of it and running laterally far too often and making no ground.

Can’t remember the last time we put in a real good, complete performance. Perhaps Wigan in the Cup, but apart from that I’m struggling.

Tough game next week, one which we may well fall short in again if we continue like this.

As for goal kicks ,Roberts had the advantage of his efforts being made closer to the posts than any of the kicks at Wigan ,which were all from the touchline.The ref & his touch judges were very poor last night ,allowing Catalans to get away with foul play & persistent offside for the full 80 minutes & someone should have been in the bin much sooner than 68 minutes. As for tries against,all Catalans efforts were walk ins through massive gaps in our once fortress like defence.
Must try harder but oh for a decent referee.

That was shocking game, in shocking weather with shocking officials. Once again we fail to make ground on those above. As a team we still have a big hill to climb.

I went Wembley when St's vs Cats.
I say of cats beat them...just get the cheapest seats in the tier of preference because you can them move and sit pretty much where you want.

I bought the cheapest at the back and went and sat right at the front. There were empty seats everywhere. Now with club Wembley available too....that's another 14k or so.

He will officially be gone at the end of the year won't he? There is no way he can rescind his termination of contract is there? It would be a disastrous waste of money if we had to pay him any longer than necessary.

I rarely can say I've strongly disliked a player but Tyrone Roberts, to my eyes, is absolutely shafting us for the money he's on. I think we've all been patient with him but he hasn't really shown any signs of improvement or willingness to improve. He's bang average and offers us only a little organisation and kicking with virtually no running game whatsoever- it's like buying a Ferrari and being given a Ford Mondeo - (nothing wrong with a Mondeo but not what we paid for).

If Roberts produces three superb games in the ccf semi, final and GF meaning we win the double...is he forgiven all that went before?
