I'd be happy with Brown for the more structured play with this fellow as our attacking halfback (so long as we free him up from that channel restriction). The problem we had in 2017 was that there was no real flair in Gidley/Patton/Brown. I like the comments on him being a 100% and creative. We have been crying out for that.

Yes it's the Head Coach and Agar position I'd like clarity on. We may be doing a massive disservice to Agar and that all of our problems were nothing to do with him, but I don't feel we can say that with any certainty due to his track record.

Fair enough but we need to sign a few for the pack yet to achieve that.

If we're only ever going to sign world class current internationals it's a good job we decided to ignore that idea and sign the likes of Sid Domic, Nat Wood and Chris Hicks to name but a few - all of which I would of paid double to watch!!! I mean, the so called "big name" international props we bought from New Zealand over the last 5 or 6 years because they "played rep rugby" worked out well for us didn't they - don't think so!!

Looking at Myler and Dwyer as a couple of the Leeds signings for next year, I think we've done ok with these two!!

I can state with some authority that there was no such clause in Hiku's deal. He was allowed to leave entirely for personal reasons. I actually respect the club on that, not only was it the 'human' thing to do but it probably recognised that if his family/girlfriend was against moving here it would upset his game.

I hope there is some clause in the release from said contract that prevents him subsequently going to another super league club though

Could just be clever player management, come over to England make it look like he's signing over here and get a better offer where he is. It's happened loads of times, i would love him here though. Only time will tell
