Guardian now reporting that the injury is more serious than first thought and will keep him out for at least two weeks. I am sure we would prefer him to get himself right and be ready for next years assault on mid table obscurity.

yes I would not risk him again this season if we cannot stay up without him we don't deserve to !!! still angry that he was kept on after his first injury even though it was a different knee as a result he would have been putting more pressure on his other knee. |

I've heard that it is a lot worse than first thought. We are currently sending him to the top specialist in the country to see what he can do, but it could be a career finishing injury.

In a similar RFL anomaly Lama Tasi has been charged grade B with using his shoulder but Sam Powell ,with an early guilty plea, could escape with a one match ban for deliberately attacking Tasi's knees from the side. More needs to be done to save players from career threatening injuries.
