Quote ="Alffi_7"It's a dead rubber as the outcome for us (bar the difference in who we play at home / away) is irrelevant to where we will finish. Of course we should look to build on recent performances, but not at the risk of playing injured players. As it turns out it seems people better get used to having Russell and Brown back in the side, as they are both our for 4 or 5 weeks.'"
I don't think that anyone is calling for TS to risk playing injured players, or that's not how I'm reading it. As far as Currie is concerned, unless he's tweaked something then he must surely be in a better place than he was against Wigan and playing in what might be deemed to be in a less arduous game?
I've not been a supporter of Russell but if he's the best available rather than an automatic choice then so be it and it will be interesting to see how he performs outside Hiku as opposed to Evans or a Hughes playing at centre.
