9000 Wire tickets sold for Thursdays game

This could be the 3rd time we've sold all our home tickets for a game this season. Widnes was a sell out, Wigan was close and hopefully this will
be.

10,000 tickets now sold

That includes Saints I presume?

No, I think thats just home tickets. Saints will sell close to 3.5k so I think the attendance will be about 14,300 ish

Won't be going mainly because I'm interviewing late and then again the following morning.
Also if I'm brutally honest despite last weekends heroic efforts by the lads I'm still scarred by the Goon defeat, and don't forget we're playing Stains at home... so a 5 hour round trip is a lot to ask for.
I do hope it's a sell out though and a win....

Don't see this being a sell out, still lots of seating left, but I think there will be lots of Saint support at the ground.

There was 12000 (9+3) sold two days ago so reckon will be about 14000 or so

Yes I noticed that, hence my earlier comment. A quick look on the website suggests about 1,750 seats still remain.

I thought the South Stand holds 5500?

5,300 including the SE corner.

If over 10,000 home tickets have been sold as of yesterday, I cant see only 3,000 being in the South

Just been in the shop to pick my tickets up, queue was out the door however i suspect its people picking tickets up.

However there was a group of about 10 blokes behind me after tickets.

Saints have 50 tickets left, sold over 3100.

Well, the West holds 3,200. But seating tickets will also have been passed to Saints for block Q in the North which holds around 250. So it looks as though all allocated tickets for Saints will be sold by tomorrow night. Surprisingly, I think it is Wire fans that are not too keen on attending the game.

No but you can bet they will turn out for the final should we win.

Let's hope they do with 30 odd thou tickets to sell.

Anyone know if the shop will be serving out tickets tomorrow dinner?

I know they've mentioned the ticket booths will be open from five but I can't get there that early and don't fancy getting stuck in a big queue at half seven.

They were today, so can't see why they wouldn't be tomorrow.

There will be a distinct lack of youngsters due to school the following day, so 14000 would be respectable.

I picked my tickets up today and complained at the counter about not being able to get the members discount on line and they refunded the difference in cash. Feel a bit guilty now.

Was just thinking that at some point tickets will need to be moved from the shop to the ticket windows.

The odd late night never did me any harm, but games like this we should be able to play at 2am on a Tuesday and still have punters locked out.

Strangely, away followings traditionally seem to rocket for play-off games, yet clubs struggle to get the regular home-fans in. No idea why!

The club have said this doesn't work. Your spot in the ground is safe but you'll need to pick a ticket up beforehand.

Pathetic if we can't sell this game out. Should be sold out already
