| Quote ="ricominciare"Johnson has got all the skills and there looks to be more to come with experience, if Russell is to make the first team I would like to see him improve his handling/off loading skills he seems to have everything else.'"
Johnson looks like a proper linking full back who times his runs well, knows when to pass and has bags of pace and game intelligence. Russell is very one dimensional but is very good at that one dimension which is about bringing back the ball with pace, aggression and strength. In the longer term Johnson looks our best bet as a top quality full back but I'd give him some time in the U23's early next year.
One player flying under the radar that I really like is George King. Seems to have a good rugby brain, made a lovely break and assist v Catalans and is a big unit who will only get bigger. I expect him to be looking for a real breakthrough season next year and with him, Wilde, Currie, Philbin, Dwyer and Evans we have the makings of a decent group of young forwards.

He is OOC - 3 year deal = 2013, 2014, 2015.
Can only agree that Johnson's really impressed me, looks a proper player. Was talking about George King going quietly about his business at the Catalan game. Doesn't stand out in the same way some of our other young back rowers do but he's solid.

Whilst I agree he has played well on the last couple of gAmes, previous to that he has disappointed me and hasn't looked physically ready right now to step up. I would loan him out as worked so well for Ben Evans at Bradford. I am delighted the club is starting to give youth a chance finally. Jack Johnson has a lot of potential I enjoyed watching him Thursday night.

| I like George King from what he's shown so far he's a very solid dependable player good mold for a 13 maybe? I mentioned Kopczek awhile ago but people don't seem too keen, I get what people mean by he's an average player but he's dependable. Doesn't do anything fancy though and we have England in the nothing fancy role already

| Unfortunately you wouldn't get a good return on Isa at the moment as the interest rates are so low.
And also he is pants.

I agree Johnson should be given time in the U23's he's still learning and more importantly growing, if all goes to plan the full back spot will be his for some time, I've also noticed George King going about his business without any fuss with steady improvement throughout the season, tackles well, fairly pacy and good hands, as you point out with a good off season he will be stronger.

| I can't get over this sudden burst of positive posting. With another couple of additions and some of the kids we've got coming through at the moment we caqn look forward to a much better season in 2016.

| I think our squad looks exciting and quality already for next season without any more additions. It would be nice to get a big bruiser prop but I think we can all be positive for next year. I think TS will have learnt from this year as well so bring on next season!

Well, I wasn't a huge fan of signing Sandow, obviously it was expecting miracles for him to single handed pull us through the 8s into the playoffs, but still I'd expect to see some individual brilliance just based on defences over Herr not being familiar with him. But it hasn't happened and opposition have took the .
Thursday night, he had a smile on his face, and it just made me think, for years we had briers and very little respect from other fans, I want them all to ing hate sandow next year, I want him to be a cocky and for teams to be terrified of him.
I'm feeling a little bit more encouraged. More so than about a month ago.

Gidley, Sandow, Sims, and Dodds already here for next year. Unless Sims is exempt from the Quota then we only have 1 spot left.

Don't get much more Australian than an aboriginal!!
I think the rule is max 7 non fed trained, with 5 of those allowed from Aus/NZ. So any Samoan/png/Tongan etc.

I haven't been at all impressed with Sandow until the Catalans game, and then on Thursday I thought he was excellent. The big positive is that he's got a kicking game, which we've not had since Briers finished.
