The better team won and glad Leigh got knocked out with the tactics they play

Well that was hard work... I think the most worrying thing for us at the minute is that teams seem to score against us every time they get a set within 20m of our line.... We are also conceding tries from distance. Its like pouring water through a sieve.

Leigh scored at will... a decent SL side is going to put a good 40+ points on us soon.

Couple that with the fact that we have all the creativity of a dead pigeon and its looking grim.... On form i would say we are the second worst side in SL.

On the plus side, were through to the semi final of the cup.... But that really is the only plus side for me.

We best hope we draw Leeds in the semi final, as any of the other sides will give us a right spanking.

Well done Dwyer. He made the difference with his dummy runs, and then hitting the hole from the ptb.

Leigh have some real pace in the backs and made ours look slow.
Ormsby and Penny did some good work in attack but was always nervous when Leigh threw it out wide.
GOB and Myler were quiet in the 2nd half.
Westwood and Currie had good games.
Asotasi did more than he's done al year, but overall we won it in the forwards with their superior strength / fitness. (As it should be from a side that purports to be a top side).

Well we're over that banana skin but actually we'll get mullered by the top sides. Defence of a rice pudding at times.

Got to give Leigh credit for the way they played though.

I saw a stat about 2 weeks ago regarding our strike rate being lower than Wakefield's, if you don't include the 80-0 drubbing. I haven't seen Wakey much this season but they put together some excellent tries at Magic; ones I don't think we are capable of. I think Leigh's attack made ours look poor today.

Well done kev and well done wire for rolling their sleeves up for change. Sorry if this annoys a few people but I wouldn't be sorry to see ratch leave. Yes he's got the skills but for me he has no position nailed down and as such means we always wedge him in somewhere. His fb defensive play is shocking and we could really do with a specialist back there. Well done Roy today and I thought sims led brilliantly. Leigh are a super league team in all but name.

Thank god for Dwyer. We looked three times faster with him at acting half than Clark, and three times more varied in attack. Take note Mr MoS.

I thought Philbin and King contributed from the bench when they came but sadly, the same problems remain. No composure, woefully brittle defence, appaling mis-reads in defence, too many passengers and too many not-quite-good-enoughs or no-longer-good-enoughs.

The Clark issue is becoming a real mystery... Dwyer changed the game when he came on today... As things stand Dwyer is the best hooker at the club.

I really thought Clark would run riot today. But he drew another blank.

Warrington can thank Dwyer,Ratchford and Penny for that win with three individual moments of quality early in the second half.

The injury he's carrying might be a big factor to be fair, I'm willing to wait until he's had that cleared up before judging him. Thought we went alright today, kicking game was as good as I've seen it this season. Big games from Sims and Currie, special mention for Roy who actually did more than 15 minutes and even more incredibly did pretty well. Thought Hock was going to blow his top towards the end. Can we have a commentator platform in the South Stand for every game? Makes abusing them so much easier.

Glad we got rid of Higham by the way, totally anonymous today.

He put in a try saving tackle and put their winger in touch I think.

Ratchford? I'm not digging that one Dug he had a shocker and might have contributed a bit in our attack, but, unfortunately also contributed in Leigh's

Well I think we went alright. As another poster said, Leigh are virtually a super league team. Our defence is still mightily worrying but I felt the enthusiasm and go forward was much stronger than it has been, perhaps Leigh tired but their enthusiasm was still there throughout, fair play to them.

Glad to see that Sims seems to be taking charge on the pitch now, bit late 20 games in but nonetheless good to see someone using their mouth. I actually thought Clark and Asotasi went well today. Roy seemed to have an electrified rod up his at the start of that second half. Penny as usual went well, do not know why we dropped him, absolutely brilliant try.

Still some idiotic offloads and needless running people off the ball but overall considering we played with 17 men for 40 minutes and 16 men for 10 minutes we weren't poor per se.

With due respect to Leigh this win is just papering over the cracks.The Pies will run riot with defence as bad as ours.

2nd half you guys 'really' stepped it up, really impressed with Dwyer when he came on.....what's happened to Daryl Clark ? 1st half Wire were ordinary/poor, 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half, you were so much better than us, even when you had 12 men for 10 min, you looked the more dangerous side. You've got a cracking pack, but some of your backs ain't what they used to be. Enjoyed today, only lost to Warrington away by 10 points !
Good luck in the Semi's....guess you want Leeds, you've beaten them twice already this season !
