Apparently there was some dialog and it was about his contract and the money offered.
He had a deal offer from Leigh.
TS told him he could leave and join Leigh on loan.

Lineham has cost us £200,000 signing fee and is on a 4 year deal.

Carvel was out of contract and struggled to get a game at hull and Cas. Definitely the right decision to let him go although I wanted him to have another year at the time.

Hodgson? He got taken out by widnes and never came back. Ratch was great in the lead up to the grand final and simply couldn't be dropped. My take was Hodgson saw his about that? It was the right decision.

Higham. No idea if this is true. I really hope it isn't on two counts. He still has it, great player great character. Seems to have a great relationship with smith. IF he has asked for a release, I'd let him go. But I would be very disappointed in his actions. That's not a reflection on warrington as far as I can see. Poor form from higham if it turns out to be true, which I don't think it will....

Our player comings and goings the last few years have been very lacklustre, but if it is true that Higham is leaving before the end of the season that is a new low. But that low will be massively surpassed if it is true that Hock will be coming in...

Not very good news ,if true,to be losing one of the top hookers in the comp ,who many times last season was more effective than Michael Monaghan & is certainly our best no 9 this year.Who really would want penalty machine Hock here in his place ? A potentially great player but a liability to every club he plays for.

Hock has been okay and behaved at Leigh but I think currently injured.

It is a gamble to take him, I don't know of a move for him here but if there was an opportunity, I'd take him.
He is a nut case and at present we have a team of forwards that since Mos and Carvell went, look to have gone all soft.
We need a nut case, and a motivation man and Hock certainly is all of that and some.

I will admit that we need aggression up front, but Hock is NOT the kind of aggression we need. There was a time when I thought his potential on field was worth a punt, but that time has gone. I don't think he offers motivation. To the contrary, I think he offers more instability.

He is a bonehead thug, a liar and a turncoat with half the talent he used to have. It would be a bonehead decision to sign him.

He's behaved impeccably in his games for us at Leigh. Mind you, his two appearances have only lasted about 50 minutes in total, and he looked pretty unfit.

Hocks time has come and gone.
I wouldn't wsnt him as his alleged disruptive influence on the rest of the team offsets the reputation as a good player.

In his games he may of done but at present he isn't behaving himself.

If this is true, then it's a major blow.

Michael Monaghan enjoyed an indian summer last year but that seems to have clouded some peoples judgement; the fact is Higham carried us through a period when Monas was injured, hugely ineffective and a shadow of his former self. I've seen nothing so far this season that suggests we can afford to let him go early.

If he does go then, get Dwyer back sharpish. All this talk of Myler to 9 is sticking plaster stuff, and comes from the same mindset that suggests Ryan Atkins will magically morph into Gorden Tallis if we shunt him into the pack. Dwyer has earned his chance, done his apprenticeship and should get an opportunity.

As for Hock, my faith in the support of this club takes a battering when I hear people suggest Hock will bring anything other than dissarray, disruption, indiscipline and poetry readings to the dressing room. He's got more baggage than Manchester Airport, is now injury-prone, aging and hardly mellowing with age either.

If we want shock value I'd rather dye big Roy's beard pink and re-launch the starlites with him as star turn.
