| For an intelligent fellow morrisey your attempts to reintroduce circulation to your hands are very frank Spenceresque. 80-0 was rather amusing by the end...any mid winter trip to thrum hall/post office road etc. Can't remember the score but remember john Bentley getting three or four tries for fax in an absolute mullering.

| Got to be KR away a few years back 22-0 at HT lost the second half 23-0 and lost by a point. On my birthday absolutely drenched in that stand about 15 miles away from the pitch

| Halifax away 2002, 5 Briers drop - goals, and Daryl Cardiss winning it for them in the last minute... I think it was only half way through the season but that convinced me we were doomed to go down. Thankfully I was wrong. Huddersfield away in 2001, I think they scored 50 for the first time in Super League that day, we were abysmal, absolutely abysmal.

| We played Halifax three times that season and Briers scored 30 points in total, 6 of which were from drop goals.

| Station Road Challenge Cup semi final 1963 v Wakefield Trinity we lost 5-2 But should have won,Pickavance broke clear late on and with just the full back to beat and a 2 man overlap he had a brain explosion and decided to kick ,it went straight over the deadball line, many said it was was Greenough shouting "Pick Pick" for the ball that caused it but who knows.I still have never forgotten how gutted I was

| Strange but he wasn't far wrong.
The sleet did blow across, there was no escape and no cover.
A truly dire Wire of a day.
