| Leeds away 2002 was a good one. Briers DG 23-22 with not long left.... and we were bad that season

My favourite game ever. I didn't go, mind, but still.

We seem to do okay against Leeds when we have bad seasons of late..?

Before any Hull fan pulls you up, i think there was probably closer to 3k there mate.

| Yes, TS is right. There was a good turnout, but certainly nowhere near 6,000. another good one was the Hudds cup game when we put over 60 points on them at their place. Chris Bridge was immense on that day and there were certainly more Wire fans there than Huddersfield.

Halifax game didn't guarantee it. It was Cas the week after. And that was a home game.

| Loads of good memories from the comments already posted, but I think mine would be CC Semi against Wigan in '09. Just the whole day, getting aled up in the bowling green pub beforehand, banter with the Pies (and rogue Chemics), then the match itself..lots of the famous "We love you Matt King, etc..." song followed by the knowledge that we were back at Wembley, with a side that could win it.

That season was the first year I really watched SL and that moment was one of my happiest memories from it; I still occasionally look at that try again and it's more of a 1 on 2 ball steal, brilliant. I thought Eddie and Phil Clarke were going to cry when it happened "I'd normally expect the referee to have called 'held' Eddie"

| Can't decide on one so listed a few that stick out for me.
Wigan Premiership '86 (Bishop's drop goalathon)
Leeds '86 50 plus points, Mark Roberts hat trick. Spent most of the 2nd half out on the wing due to Smokin Joe Ropati's broken arm.
Wigan New Year's Day '92 (I think) Injury hit side against star filled Wigan mob. Basil Richards winning try with less than 5 mins left.
St Helens '94 Mike Greg's try in the corner
Bradford '05 Chris Bridge's dream 2nd half and our pack tore the 'awesome foursome' to shreads.
Wigan '79 Great games Ken Kelly, Nicko and John Bevan.
Wigan '09 Semi at Widnes. Great game and even better atmosphere.
Hull '11 Great turn out for the LLS win.
Widnes '87 at Wigan (Regal Trophy) Sir Leslie at his finest.
Halifax '86 at Elland Road (Premiership Final) 2nd half dismantling of that season's league champions.

| Wakey away (2006) in what was at the time the biggest Super League comeback (seem to remember that was a Bridge masterclass too).

| Like many that 2009 CCSF was a big turning point and was so emotional for many die hards who had been suffering for nearly two decades.

Good times, but I would have to challenge the last bit. While I was delighted to have beaten Wigan, it didn't occur to me that we might win there since - as you'll recall - we all expected to be playing Saints at Wembley.
It was only the day after, when I checked the interweb and saw Huddersfield had beaten Saints, that the shuddering expectation that we might have a chance set in.

I know what you are saying, but once we beat the pies I kind of 'knew' we would go on and win..I don't know why.
Thankfully it proved to be the case, pity I didn't put a bet on, but I didn't want to jinx it!

| The saints away game at widnes where we beat them for the first time in god knows how long. I can remember Briers grubbering through close to their line and it bouncing back off a saints players back, straight into the arms of Briers who placed it down under the sticks. I just knew from that moment that it was the night that we were going to finally get the saints monkey off our back. It was my 18th birthday as well which made it all the better!
Oh and any game where we have beat the pies! Living in wigan has made games against them that bit more special for me.
