As i stated previously ,most of the good things that happened for England yesterday took place when Hill & Westwood were on the pitch. Hill is turning into a great ball playing forward & i suppose if you are tackling as many players as Westwood then you can expect the odd indiscretion to creep in.

Did anyone else think the foot in touch incident with Charnley looked like a good try ?

Indeed. The workrate and aggression shown by Westwood was team leading. I counted numerous sets when he was involved in every tackle in the set. Anyone who thinks he shouldn't be playting at this level is on glue. Or crack.

Yes, the Aussies were quite clearly helped by Westwood's indiscipline (as I've mentioned before). Unfortunately, it's a thing we have to live with. You take Westwood out of that England side, and you lose a massive amount of "grunt" in our pack, and the Aussies make even more easy yards. What do you want, Aled Jones or a hardened Test Match player? Don't forget Buck, this is a man that destroyed your lot, only 6 weeks ago.

I wouldn't have any other English second rower in front of him, when it comes to handing out International jerseys.

What Bailey does for Leeds has no relevance , this is about international rugby and the fact ( whether you like it or not ) that Westwood , for all his herculean effort yesterday, ed away good field position and gifted the aussies the initiative with avoidable penalties .

Do you think this is acceptable at this level ?
