....5000 more than last year!

I didn't enjoy last years final at Old Trafford. Compared to Wembley I felt that atmosphere before the game was very poor & getting away from OT by train was badly organised.
At the game I was surrounded by drunken Hull fans.
I believe Sky build the Grand Final up to be something it is not. So this year I will save the hassle of getting from Mid Wales and watch it on television.

Couldn't agree more.Not a patch on the atmosphere at Wembley but having said that i'd regret it forever if i didn't go + we won.Even though a good majority of the fans would like to see us lift the cup it seems to be more of an ambition of the players to get the monkey of their backs.

Like to see us do it?? Like??

Why do people keep comparing it to Wembley? Do soccer fans compare winning the league to winning the FA Cup?

Warrington playing Wigan in the Grand Final at Old Trafford is dreamland for me. There is no other game or team to play that comes close. As some on here will know I have a great dislike of Saints but I would rather play & beat Wigan any day.

Next Saturday Warrington Wolves play Wigan Warriors in the Grand Final at Old Trafford. It does not get any better than that.

As much as I didn't enjoy the experience last year....THIS IS EXACTLY RIGHT. And I wouldn't miss this for anything.

I think there will be less there than last year. Everyone I speak to are saying they aren'y going after last years experinence of the occassion.

I said the same, i was disapointed even before the kick off old trafford is a dump. But im going because id never forgive myself if i wasnt there to see them lift the trophy.

So some people are not going to watch their team in the biggest fixture in the rugby league calender, against the old enemy at one of the most famous stadiums in the world because of a bad expierance last year???

Make no mistake this is the biggest game of RL Warrington have had in a VERY long time. Get down there and sing your hearts out...your club NEEDS YOU!

Well Old Trafford is a dump. However, they could play it on the moon and still get a good turnout from Wire. It shouldn't really matter what ground it's played at when it's the deciding game of the season and we've not won it in nearly 60 years!

It is one of the best stadiums in the country. It is instantly recognisable worldwide, and people travel from all corners to see it. You can go there for a meeting in the middle of the week and it feels like you are at a tourist attraction, not a soccer stadium. How on earth is it a dump?!

It's impressive from outside but it is hell inside. We drove round yesterday & there were loads of people around the from even coach loads of people.

Because once you're inside it it's like being marched through a penitentiary. Maybe it's because I don't go to football grounds but it was easily the least pleasant stadium to watch a game from I've ever seen and I've been to Twickenham!

I've been to every 50,000+ capacity stadium in the UK with the exceptions of Ibrox and Twickenham. That covers Murrayfield, Hampden, Celtic Park, St James' Park, Old Trafford, Millenium Stadium, Wembley, Emirates and the Olympic Stadium. I've also been to most 40,000+ football grounds, loads of smaller grounds, and every UK based ground currently in Super League.

Old Trafford is one of the very best and it really irritates me having to say that.

I've been past our place a couple of times since they went on sale and never seen a queue yet. Hope they are selling well.

I missed that one, but I went to the draw that preceeded it. 2-2, it wasn't a great game, but I do remember that Brian Glover collapsed at the end through exhaustion.
You get your backside there BWW. You'll regret it if you don't go.
