| What Williams does have, unlike the majority of the wingers in the comp, is a left hand carry. Might not seem a lot, but if you're carrying the ball comfortably, you can use a fend or a one hand put down away from defenders. We don't (nor did Cas for that matter) use that though all that often.
That is no excuse for a few of the errors he has made, but it may be a contributing factor. Especially under the high ball. Leaving the ground from your strongest foot, will get you higher and more controlled in the jump, naturally leads to a better attempt at a catch.
The bit that niggles me about him, is coming away from our line, he doesn't make yards. He is to obsessed at beating the markers rather that straightening up and taking the contact. Riley, to his credit, overcome similar issues in 2009/2010 and he now has an uncanny ability to bounce off, spin and make a few more yards/get a quicker play the ball. I'm sure he will come good to develop into a decent left winger.
