Cant agree more myself, Chase isn't that good from where I am sitting and with Ratchford, O'Brien & Myler why would we want to break the bank never mind chase a guy when we have youngsters as good now never mind in a year or two.

This thread seriously stinks like Deano G and his "Hansen better than Westwood" rubbish.

Admittedly, perhaps not many an here can claim to have seen enough of the guy to have a fair comparison, I haven't, have you? But the feeling of one of those 'stinking the thread out' is that we should give our own a chance to stake a claim and come through with Briers having another year.

Not a particularly heinous crime to have a bit of faith and OBrien, Ratchford and Myler are hardly novices that may or may not step up to SL standard

Over 300k for Chase, not for me, happy with the players we have.

I guess the people who gave Chase the Man of Steel Award and Albert Goldthorpe Medal saw enough of Chase to consider him worthy of those awards.

Good players don't always fit well in to other peoples structures, would Chase be good at the Wire? I don't know.

I like Chase and think he'd be a great addition. Some of the Wiganers are getting a bit daft though. I actually loike reading what NickyKiss post's as he's easily the best poster off that board and has been for many years.

Let's face it this is superleague and a halfback pairing of Chase and Smith wouldn't be bettered by many (if any).

He was exceptionally good in the Challenge Cup semi last year, almost dragging Cas single-handedly to Wembley. He was also awesome in the Exiles game.

There's no doubting Chase's ability (can't believe some are) but I'm not sure whether we need him, GOB, Briers, Myler, Ratch and Chase?

I'd have him like a shot, quality player, Fantastic last year but would concede not playing aswell this season. Surrounded by better players i'm sure he would shine. Myler's not a playmaker, O'brian is promising, Briers can't go on much longer.
