Thats not the point, When we came up against Catalan he made every forward on the Catalan team look poor. Many props in you're team would struggle to match up. I have seen Cooper play and I have seen Hill play and Chris Hill can offer so much more.

of course its the point..... you're wondering why quite a few warrington fans are not picking someone that they probably haven't seen play
It doesn't matter what your opinion is...... Cooper is an excellent forward, who has played many top flight games against the best SL has to offer. Hill doesn't have a SL game to his name.
You cant expect people to pick someone they have never seen play in SL ahead of a proven player in the England knights squad can you? |

that might well be the case.... if you come back 10 games into next season, you may even find him being selected in the starting 13.... i couldn't give him a place in the 17 if i picked one now. |

I am not in the 'know' in any way, but we do have a spare quota spot and we seem to have lost an awful lot of money on our Cap. Matt, Louis & Jon must have been on a fair slice between them.
Although balancing that Joel has signed a contract that starts in November and the five that have extended this week will all be on improved offers and then there is Chris Hill and Trent Waterhouse. But that said I just hope that TS & Mr Moran will have their eye on one more signing to complete our team for 2012. |

I only put him in the starting 17 as a halfback as i certainly wouldn't want him anywhere near fullback plus i don't rate Myler, twice now he's failed to show up in 2 massive games for us, the challenge cup quarters and the play off eliminator against Leeds. Myler just doesn't look like a natural organiser or a half back that will take a game by the scruff of the neck if were in trouble where Briers and Monaghan maybe out injured or not performing on the day. |

On another thread Rob, you said that you'd seen improvement in Riley year on year, that he wasn't the finished article but his attitude was good etc. I find this all the more surprising Rob, that you can't do the same with Myler, you're being a little blinkered in my opinion. He's getting better & better, is starting to organise and boss games etc.
He's probably younger than Riley, and whatever allowances are made for he are certainly applicable for Myler if not moreso as he's playing in such a key position. |
