Losing both half backs last year plus other injured players, i just like to see the best team win and Leeds only came to life when Saints lost key players, up and till that point saints had dominated most of the game and looked well in control until they lost Shenton.

I would certainly agree with that bit. But feel Saints should have taken more of their chances long before the loss of Shenton.

what a great game of rugby..... leeds did to saints what they did to us.... they fell behind and found another gear... burrow was exceptional....

everyone knows wigan and warrington were the best 2 teams in the league this season.

i think as a club we had an obsession with finishing top... because it shows that we were the best team in the league that season.

leeds winning the GF from 5th almost degrades the playoffs.... and i dont mean that in a bitter way.... congratulations to leeds for winning it.

but no one will be going into next season saying 'leeds are the team to beat'..... i expect warrington to beat them home and away again.

it just goes to show that that the biggest trophy in skys superleague can be won by anyone..... consistency over the season almost means nothing anymore.

Leeds are champions! It will take time to get over. But we are.
