Pretty poor not to confirm the day of what will possibly be the 'title-deciding' match of the season until a fortnight prior.

Shouldn't they be able to confirm after this weekend's semi-finals when the RFL will know the finalists and be able to tweak the schedule if needed?

Couldn't care less whether it's Fri or Sat, but would be stunned beyond belief if it wasn't selected for Sky at all.

Anyways we all know that sky doesnt chose to move games, it merely "REQUEST" that fixtures are moved. Unless there is a really pressing reason not to, the game will be Friday.

It was. They've flipped that back round now though with the Championship game back as normal on Thursday (York v Halifax) - presumably to pick up your game in France.

Friday 2nd September on Sky sees....

Sky Sports 1 - Bulgaria v England Football
Sky Sports 2 - Wales v Montenegro Football
Sky Sports 3 - Ireland v Slovakia Football
Sky Sports 4 - Northern Ireland v Serbia Football

Thus no room for Rugby League. The two slots are Saturday 5:45pm and Sunday 1pm.

I would expect the latter for our game.

Well for all the stick they get they don't really like to move games matchdays. It depends what the other pick is though. For example they won't move our game to Saturday if the other pick is one of the scheduled Friday games. It'd be stupid to move two games to different days, when you can just switch one. There isn't any 3D coverage I don't think that weekend so that doesn't come into it.

It's hard to predict what the other pick will be though, it depends on results. Catalan (aiming for top 4) v Hull KR (aiming for top 8 ) looks most intriguing at the moment (already Saturday). Cas v Hull (scheduled for Sunday) could be a big game as well.

I'm not ruling out Saturday, I just think Sunday is more likely.

Because the Sky Schedule says 1pm Sunday. Thats what they have picked.

If they pick our game at Catalans though, I can't see them going to south of france two games running? In that case they would pick Cas v Hull - therefore we would more likely to be Saturday?

I work 12-8 saturday and 12-8 sunday but can change to 12-5 on a saturday so hopefully its saturday or im screwed
