he never played there when King was injured earlier in the season.

If King moves on, next season i would expect to see Bridge and Atkins at centre.... backed up by Blythe & Evans.... also if the rumours of ratchford turn out to be correct, there's another player who can feature at centre if required.

Got a point but he had a good season last year so can't understand why he has all of a sudden been placed so far down the order. I know hes suspect under a high ball.

No, if you remember rightly I was moaning about you paying him off, suggesting it was off the cap and very naughty and Wigan-esque as you were no doubt paying him off to sign someone else.

When it was pointed out that it's fine to pay someone's contract up and release them off the cap as long as they've not played that season I acknowledged that and agreed it was okay.

You are correct PY; the Under 20s play St. Helens this Saturday in a re-arranged fixture that was postponed earlier in the seaon when we should have played it as the curtain raiser at Widnes.

That game is now on w/e 23rd July at Thatto Heath and the game on Saturday is at Wilderspool.

We then don't have an Under 20s league fixture until Huddersfield on 9th July although we will have the 9s tournament on a Tuesday evening during June.

Riley is a good player but have always thought that Tony didnt like him. Far better player than Penny was though, can actually tell hes played rugby all his life, pretty reliable and decent decision making usually.

Shame but not a huge shock.

Not at all Fats. I was taken to KR by my Dad at pre school age. By the time I even knew Warrington had a team I was a die hard Saints fan. Saints at the time weren't any better than Warrington really I don't think, they certainly never won any trophies and didn't start being successful until I was 16.

I appreciate numero uno isn't the biggest of deals for those clubs that have won it, but it still gets etched into the record books as an official competition achievement.

Ahhh. I was thinking about what's on offer domestically. I actually think number 1 is a huge achievement. It really does mean you are top of the pile. Technically SL and the WCC can also be won by anyone finishing 1-8.

Having thought about this one the last few days, i wouldn't be that disappointed if he wasn't to return. The fact that he is a warrington lad doesn't mean he should be given a head start in my eyes. I prefer our first choices and the two Rhys' over Riley.

just shows the quality with have in the squad.if we can let experienced super league player leave and replace him with a novice in super league terms.it does seem to me we wont be seeing much more Riley this season.

I always seem to think its the beginning of the end when players go out on loan,could be wrong though!
