Thoughts now that Wolves have 3 in the exiles final team and 5 in the england. I remember (was it a couple of seasons ago) Moz playing for Wolves within days of playing for England v France. Any thoughts on which players might, or which players TS would wish to double up.

What are we expecting pending injuries from the exiles game? I'm not expecting to see Hodgson, Morley, or Westwood (maybe) appear.

I'm sure Clarke will figure in the 17 (Cue the howls of derision). Five or even six players backing up sounds like too many to me. I'd rather see two or three youngsters get a run rather then risk pulls and tears to blokes playing twice.

Why would you back Moz up but not Carvell? Thats just daft.

I think it's gonna be more or less the first team, only the skipper and Brett to get a breather, Joel & Harrison out through injury. Doubt Tyke or Mitch will be called back for one game, keep them on loan getting them more experience. Not gonna be a better chance to introduce one of the kids, give them a run out. It's only Salford



So ill go for same as 40-20 but Grix to be starting 13, Anderson starting 11, Clarke bench and swap Moz out for Gaz in.

Tony Smith said in the Guardian a couple of weeks ago that players would double up. There's no way he'll put 3-4 debutants in, he wouldn't do it against Swinton, so he certainly won't do it against Salford. I would expect minimal changes, maybe Hodgson and one of Morley/Carvell to be rested.

Funny how we all do not list Benny W (me included), even though he is the human duracel bunny.

I suppose that may be the problem - the fact that he seems to use up every bit of energy he has in every game must surely mean he is knackered for a few days after a match?

I remember speaking to Benny the day after we beat Wigan in the Semis in 2009. He said it takes him two days to get over a game and hes good to go again. I suppose this would depend on any injuries hes carrying and other niggles that he gets during the game. What a work horse.

He will probably flog himself half to death playing for England...... I think we all know how much effort he puts into every game.... I certainly wouldn't expect a player of his type to backup for us 2 days later.... Infact I wouldn't want him to.... The more rest he gets between now and the playoffs the better in my opinion.... He is probably our best player.

m monas in evans injured, riley and mitchell on loan and cant come back until end and obrien out but would of been a good squad anyways

To select so many backing up players will be a bad move and will mean injuries to key men. I really hope some of the old guys like Hodgson doesnt play 2 games in one weekend.
