Tim Roby (Referee) is only 21 or 22 I think, this is only his second ever SL game. Lets hope he doesn't spoil the game through inexperience on the bigger stage, like a certain 'James Child' does week in week out.

Roby reffed Leigh's first game with Widnes, a couple of weeks ago. He let the game flow and we hardly noticed him. Vikings' fans of course, may have a different interpretation of him letting the game flow!

I wish the lad well on his career as a ref. I imagine its not easy having thousands of people shouting at you all match. So long as he doesn't turn into one of those gits who thrive on the abuse I hope he establishes himself. Ref's if they do their job correctly, shouldn't be noticed at all. Your always going to get knobs who shout at any decision, but the majority of rugby fans I've met call things pretty true (Forums discounted from this!!)

Tim Roby is an excellent refreeing who manages the game and players very well, doesn't just penalise everything all the time. Hopefully will give us a good flowing game. Having the amazing first name Tim obviously helps his cause

Well it has critisms- a universe and watch can hardly be comparable. Paley said the universe shows signs of harminious order, only from a 'God's eye view' would it possible to see if the world and universe showed harminious order or chaos. Correct I was name dropping, but explaining all their thoughts would take a while
