Alot of those players that played yesterday are still eligible to play for the U18's but with a couple of 1st teamers in the side that is still a really bad result for Rovers.

Also the young Wire deserve congratulations. They worked hard, got a great result for the team and should be applauded. What signal are we giving them if we never congratulate a good performance in case we embarrass the losing team? It's a competition - winning and losing is the norm, and it is academy rugby not mini-league.

The American's have a mentality that a team shouldn't "run up the score". I don't think think we should adopt that mentality. The lads worked hard and showed a lot of determination to not lose focus while they were winning.

We did but playing Carvell, Myler and Clarke (all on their way back from injury) was hardly fair on the Leeds youngsters. Didn't do us much good in the SL game that followed either.
