Fully agree....I find it strange that if a golfer sticks it 3 foot from the pin, then he is a genius. But then if he sinks a hole in one then its pure luck??...

Depends what you mean by easier. Darts players play far more legs than snooker players play frames, so if they were equally difficult, statiscally you would be far more likely to do a nine dart finnish.

Consider a blind person attempting both feats, statistically the two don't compare. An average league player could get lucky and do nine dart finish, I'm confident that it doesn't happen in snooker.

To conclude;

Hole in one: You can do this if you are sh*te any really lucky.
Nine dart finish: You can do this if you are reasonably good and reasonably lucky.
147: You need to be really really good, and have a little bit of luck.

Can they make the next one a few games shorter? This one was too long for us.

9 Dart finish. But a 147 can be harder as it depends on how the table looks before they start. Sometimes just not possible.
