I think the problem people have got is that they (Wigan fans) are quick enough to call us scum, bring up teams fans etc but when there own fans do it they sweep it under the carpet.

So what? Are you really that precious that a Wigan fan refering to us collectively as "scum" upsets you?

I couldn't give a toss whether they are true fans or not - I don't even know what that means. Not sure anyone is crying about it.

For pity`s sake, is this a Rugby League supporters site, or a discussion on the pro`s and cons off modern Humanity. I have read this site for years and prefer to enjoy the banter and INFORMED rugby league comments but there seems to be a concerted effort to whip up inter fan hatred this week. Brian Mclennons ill-informed inflamatory comments are a lot to blame for this.
All clubs have idiots, and hot heads, do we need to take them seriously?

This isn't about Wigan, this isn't about Warrington and it's not about Leeds..

This is about rugby league and the fact that a small minority of fans have sunk to a level so low, it's brought public criticism from players of TGG.

I'm all for rivalry, but comments wishing serious injury and even paralysis on a rugby league player should bring sport-wide condemnation.

I know of him being a drugs cheat. Wigan haven't terminated his contract and many expect him to be wearing the strip again.

I heard he was off to the NRL and Penrith Panthers.

Wasnt Hock found guilty of "Recreational" drug use. The cheating drugs are the "Performance enhancing" drugs such as Newton was taking. This in no way deminishes the seriousness of drug use of any kind in our sport. Role model status is very important and we have to send out the right message to the kids.

But he is oftern refered to as "drugs cheat Hock" in the chip papers.

On a side note i think two years isn't enough.

Where do we start? Recreational = illegal drugs. Drugs = crime. Crime ruins families & communities so don't make an excuse for him. Would you leave your family children in his company knowing what he has taken?
